Conversations about Jesus

Teaching and preaching is all to often about one person talking and a lot of people listening (or maybe not listening). This blog is simply an opportunity to take the teaching time of The Meeting Place and move it into a conversational space.
  • I will sometimes post my notes, or transcripts.
  • I will try to consistently post the screen shots from the teaching time, and links to video clips I have used.
  • I will post reference information for books and articles that I have used so you can go to sources and see what they say for themselves. I try properly quote people, but after you spend a lot of time in certian books, or reading certain authors, or talking with others in the blogosphere it becomes difficult to know where some thoughts spring from. this is my attempt at honouring the contribution of others to my thinking.
My invitation

Please post thoughts, reflections, questions, challanges and thoughts about the implications of the teaching times at www.THEMEETINGPLACE.mb.ca . I will moderate and participate in the conversation.

Let's enjoy being a thinking community, Let's relish cultivating each others souls, Let's challange each other to love and good deeds.

Thanks for joining me for the ride.
